    Age: Newborn to 2 years

    Objectives: Providing competent care and a loving introduction
    to Jesus in the church nursery and introducing Biblical truth to homes with newborn children.

Fall 2009 Curriculum Overview: 2's & 3's (KJV)

    Description: Planting Faith Curriculum

    Title: Obedience; God's Gifts; Thanksgiving

    Lesson Themes: Obedience (Noah obeys God); God's Gifts (God provided for the Israelites and for us): Thanksgiving (how the Israelites thanked God)

    Bible Passages: Genesis; Exodus; Leviticus; Deuteronomy; 1 Chronicles; Job; Psalms; Acts; 1 Peter

    Objectives: These three units will help twos and threes know that obedience pleases God; that God provides for us, and that we should thank God. The children will be encouraged to obey and to give thanks.

    Title:Kindness; Helpfulness; Prayer

    Lesson Themes:Kindness (Jonathan, David, and Abigail were kind); Helpfulness (Elisha helped people); Prayer (Bible people who prayed)

    Bible Passages: Genesis; 1, 2 Samuel; 2 Kings; Nehemiah; Psalms; Proverbs; Matthew; Luke; Galatians; Ephesians

Course Description: Pre-primary children will learn about Bible people who were kind and helpful and who prayed. They will have opportunities to practice kindness and helpfulness and will be encouraged to talk to God in prayer.
